VocoTV · Player Setup Guide
IBO Player Pro setup connects your assigned VocoTV playlist to the exact app you installed. Verify the publisher, install the version for your device and use its own playlist-management screen. This UK-focused guide separates app activation from the content subscription and explains why similarly named IBO apps are not interchangeable.
An IBO Player Pro licence activates player features; it does not supply VocoTV channels or renew a VocoTV account. Install the exact app linked by its developer, then use that app’s playlist manager to add the service details assigned to the device.
For platform details, consult IBO Player Pro official downloads and setup.
IBO Player Pro setup requires the correct app identity, its own playlist-management route and the service details assigned to the device. Similarly named IBO apps can use different accounts, identifiers and licence systems, so verify the publisher before activation.
The setup needs compatible hardware, an active connection and the access details assigned to this device.
Several apps use similar IBO names. This guide follows IBO Player Pro at iboplayer.pro. Use the activation and playlist-management instructions shown by your installed app; do not transfer credentials to an unrelated website.
Find platform-specific instructions in our IPTV setup guide. A player licence does not include a VocoTV subscription, and a VocoTV subscription does not automatically activate the player.
Use the official IBO Player Pro website to select the current download route for your platform. Check compatibility and activation terms before installing.
Use the player developer’s official download page linked in this guide. Select the package for your exact device and verify the app publisher before installation.
Use the IBO Player Pro developer website to find the supported download for your device.
Samsung and LG TVs require their compatible native app rather than an Android APK. For Windows, follow the download route on the developer’s website. App availability can vary by model, operating system and region.
For permission settings and remote navigation, see our Fire TV Stick setup guide. Do not disable device security checks to bypass an unexpected warning.
IBO Player Pro setup requires four actions: install the correct native app, open its own playlist manager, add the assigned service details and reload the app for playback tests. The displayed device ID and key must belong to that specific installation.
On supported Android devices, use IbPro Player on Google Play. On compatible Fire OS / Android devices using Downloader, enter 481220, select Go, install and open the app. Official APK: IBO Player Pro Android download. Source: IBO Player Pro developer.
For Samsung or LG, use the native store version supported by your model, not the Android APK. Check the exact app and its management address before following Step 2.
Watch the developer-linked Firestick installation video (opens YouTube).
Open the app and keep its MAC Address and Device Key on screen. On a phone or computer, visit IBO Player Pro Manage Playlists. Copy the app’s MAC into Mac Address and its key into Device Key, then select Login. These two fields identify your app, not your IPTV subscription.
After signing in, add a playlist, name it VocoTV and paste your complete assigned M3U link into the playlist URL field. Save, then reopen or refresh the TV app. Use Xtream Codes only if your installed version explicitly offers that option; otherwise request your M3U link from support.
Several unrelated apps have similar IBO names. This guide follows iboplayer.pro / IbPro Player; if your app displays a different management website, confirm the exact app with support before entering a key.
Reloading the saved playlist lets you test channels, audio and guide data before purchasing a longer plan.
EPG availability depends on the player and connection type. Supported account configurations can load listings automatically, while an M3U setup may need a separate EPG URL. If your player requests one or the guide stays empty, ask VocoTV support for the correct details and check your local time zone.
UK guide times: set the device to the correct local time zone, normally Europe/London for UK viewing. Allow automatic daylight-saving changes and refresh the EPG if listings are an hour out.
IBO Player Pro activation and VocoTV service access are independent, and an app identifier is not necessarily the device’s network address.
| Check | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Download shortcut | iboplayer.pro lists Official developer download for its Android package. | Verify the destination and platform; the code neither activates the app nor supplies channels. |
| Device identifier | Use the ID and key shown by the installed player. | Similar app names can have different managers, accounts and licence systems. |
| Service format | Use M3U or a supported credentials-based option supplied for your account. | An activated player can still show an empty list when the service entry is missing or invalid. |

Extra devices, recording and simultaneous streams can have different connection requirements; a player licence does not increase the VocoTV account allowance.
Review the developer’s current player licence terms. Any app trial, renewal or device transfer is separate from VocoTV’s service. Paying for player activation alone will not load channels.
Your simultaneous connection allowance depends on your VocoTV plan. Check your order details before adding another screen, recording or using multiview. Use the access details supplied for your account; a player licence does not add service connections.
IBO Player Pro troubleshooting starts by confirming that the installed app, its displayed device ID and the playlist manager belong together. An activated app with no channels can still have missing or incorrect service access; app activation and playlist entry must be checked separately.
Confirm the entire assigned URL, account status and selected playlist. A portal address is not automatically an M3U link. Save and refresh after correcting details.
Check the device identifier in the playlist manager. Reload or restart the player after saving. Avoid editing another household device’s configuration.
Compare several streams and check your home network. Pause heavy downloads and use Ethernet where possible. Follow our IPTV buffering checks to isolate the cause.
Check the device clock and time zone, refresh the playlist and allow guide updates to finish. Report the affected channels if listings remain missing.
Check both the player licence and the VocoTV service account. They are separate. Confirm that you have saved the correct playlist and are within your connection allowance.
Record the app version, device model and exact error. Keep credentials out of public screenshots. Our IPTV troubleshooting guide covers further checks.
IBO-branded players can have different developers and licence systems; these answers refer to the IBO Player Pro app linked by iboplayer.pro.
Install the IBO Player Pro app linked by its verified developer, open the playlist manager identified inside that app and add the VocoTV access assigned to the device. Use the displayed device ID and key when requested, save the playlist and reload the player. App activation and VocoTV service access are separate purchases.
No. The player software does not include a VocoTV subscription or channels. Player activation and service access are separate purchases unless your order explicitly states otherwise.
Use the player developer’s official download page linked in this guide. Select the package for your exact device and verify the app publisher before installation.
Do not assume similarly named apps use the same account, licence or playlist manager. This guide refers to the IBO Player Pro developer website at iboplayer.pro. Match the installed app to its official support and activation instructions.
No. Samsung Tizen and LG webOS need compatible native store apps. The Android APK is for compatible Android-based devices. Availability varies by TV model and store region.
Use the playlist-management screen in your app or the official website it directs you to. Enter the complete assigned M3U URL, save it and refresh the player. Interface labels differ between platforms and versions.
Use Xtream Codes only if your installed app provides that login method and VocoTV has supplied the matching server address, username and password. Otherwise use your assigned M3U playlist. Do not paste a full M3U link into a server-only field.
VocoTV’s service trial is separate from any player trial or activation fee. Check the player developer’s current terms and your device compatibility before paying.
EPG availability depends on the player and connection type. Supported account configurations can load listings automatically, while an M3U setup may need a separate EPG URL. If your player requests one or the guide stays empty, ask VocoTV support for the correct details and check your local time zone.
Your simultaneous connection allowance depends on your VocoTV plan. Check your order details before adding another screen, recording or using multiview. Use the access details supplied for your account; a player licence does not add service connections.
Check the assigned playlist URL, subscription status and device selected in the playlist manager. Save and refresh the app. If it remains empty, contact support with your device model, app version and exact error.
Compare several channels, check your connection and pause heavy downloads. Try Ethernet where possible. If the issue persists, report the affected channel and time along with your device and player version.
Confirm compatibility and test your playlist first. Then choose a duration and device allowance that fit your household.
Explore our IPTV overview for service options after checking your device compatibility.
IBO Player Pro is independent software. Its developer manages app licences, updates and activation support. VocoTV provides separate service access.
