VocoTV · Apple TV & tvOS
Apple TV IPTV setup uses a tvOS player installed from the App Store on an Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K. Add your assigned VocoTV playlist, then test sound, remote navigation and the guide. This UK-focused guide applies to the Apple TV box, not the Apple TV app built into another television.
This setup uses an Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K box running tvOS. The Apple TV app on another television does not turn that television into a tvOS device or provide the box’s App Store installation workflow.
For platform details, consult Hot Player’s UK App Store listing.
Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K support compatible tvOS apps through the App Store. Earlier Apple TV models without that store do not use this installation route. Check the model and required tvOS version before selecting a player.
The setup needs compatible hardware, an active connection and the access details assigned to this device.
The Apple TV app on a Samsung or LG television does not turn it into a tvOS device. Install players through that television’s own store, or use an Apple TV box connected by HDMI. Our IPTV installation guide helps you select the correct platform.
Compatibility comes first. An app available on iPhone, Android TV or Samsung is not automatically available on Apple TV. Check the developer, tvOS requirement, supported login methods and any in-app fees before installing.
The Smarters Pro developer website lists Apple TV support. Follow its App Store link and confirm the current listing on your device. Our Smarters setup guide explains the service setup.
The Hot Player listing by STE DIGI VIBES includes Apple TV and currently requires tvOS 15.0 or later. Confirm the listing on your box. Check any IBO-branded option individually; similar names do not establish tvOS support.
Keep app and service payments separate: a player licence unlocks that app’s features. It does not provide or renew a VocoTV subscription.
Apple TV setup requires a supported tvOS player, the service details assigned to the box and a playback test through the connected television. Prepare the box, install the app, enter the playlist or supported login and check HDMI sound, remote navigation and guide times.
On Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K, open the App Store, search Smarters Pro, check the developer and tvOS compatibility, then select Get → Open. Official listing: Smarters Pro on the App Store.
Use the Apple TV App Store on the television; a download on your iPhone does not install the TV app. There is no Android APK or Downloader code for tvOS.
Open Smarters Pro and find its add playlist / URL option. Choose the URL method for an M3U link. Some versions also offer a server-login or Xtream Codes option; use it only if it is visible. A player registration or purchase screen is separate from your VocoTV subscription.
If you received one long M3U link: choose the playlist URL / M3U option. Enter VocoTV as the playlist name and paste the entire link into Playlist URL. Do not split it into username and password fields.
If you received three Xtream Codes details: select Xtream Codes or the supported server-login option. Copy Server URL → server/address field, Username → username field and Password → password field. If a name is requested, use VocoTV. Keep the supplied http/https and port; do not paste an M3U link into the server field.
Save or add the playlist, then let the content finish loading. If your version only shows M3U/JSON playlist options, use your M3U link rather than looking for a missing Xtream Codes button.
Playback testing checks the source, player and HDMI connection together, including sound and guide times.
For 4K, confirm the source, player, display and HDMI connection support the format. Ask about specific regional or French-language channels before choosing a longer subscription.
UK guide times: set the device to the correct local time zone, normally Europe/London for UK viewing. Allow automatic daylight-saving changes and refresh the EPG if listings are an hour out.
Apple TV playback uses the native tvOS app and the display formats supported by both the box and the connected television.
| Check | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| App requirement | Hot Player’s linked listing currently requires tvOS 15.0 or later. | Check the live App Store compatibility section before installation; requirements can change. |
| Match Frame Rate | Where supported, Match Content can adapt output to the source frame rate. | A 60 Hz output setting does not create 60 fps content from a lower-frame-rate stream. |
| Audio output | Test TV speakers before enabling receiver passthrough or advanced formats. | Working picture with no sound can reflect an output or audio-format mismatch. |

Your simultaneous connection allowance depends on your VocoTV plan. Check your order details before adding another screen, recording or using multiview. Use the access details supplied for your account; a player licence does not add service connections.
Check your IPTV subscription connection allowance before using another device. Ask support whether any separate player activation is needed when replacing hardware.
Apple TV playback faults can involve the service entry, the player or HDMI output. Compare another stream, confirm the selected audio output and check the guide clock before changing frame-rate or display settings.
Confirm you are searching on the Apple TV box, not inside the Apple TV content app. Check your tvOS version, account region and the player’s current requirements. An iPhone listing alone does not establish tvOS support.
Check the selected login format, full server address and credentials. Confirm your account is active and assigned to this device. Let a large playlist finish loading before submitting the details again.
Test another channel and restart the app. Compare Wi-Fi with Ethernet on models that support it. Follow our IPTV buffering checklist before assuming the cause is your internet provider.
Compare a second stream and check the selected audio track, television input and HDMI connection. If only one title fails, report it with your app and device model. Avoid changing several video or audio settings at once.
Check the local device time zone and refresh the guide if supported. Missing listings on one channel may reflect source data; it does not necessarily mean the whole account is incorrectly configured.
Restart the app and device, then check for available app and tvOS updates. Keep access details before reinstalling. Our IPTV troubleshooting guide covers further checks.
Help support reproduce the issue: provide your Apple TV model, tvOS version, player name, affected channel and time. Hide passwords and complete playlist URLs in public screenshots.
Apple TV hardware, the Apple TV app and an iPhone player are different products; the questions below explain their setup boundaries.
Set up IPTV on an Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K by installing a compatible tvOS player from the App Store, entering the assigned playlist or supported service login and testing playback. Check the app’s tvOS requirement, HDMI audio and local programme times. These instructions apply to the Apple TV box, not the Apple TV app on another device.
No. The Apple TV app available on many televisions is a content app. It does not give that television the tvOS App Store or let you install unrelated IPTV players. This guide is for Apple TV hardware running tvOS.
Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K have an App Store, but each player has its own minimum tvOS and device requirements. Earlier Apple TV generations without the App Store cannot follow this installation method.
Smarters Pro lists Apple TV support on its developer website. Check its current App Store compatibility and availability in your region. Do not assume an iPhone-only player or an Android app also works on tvOS.
Use either only if the exact developer provides a current tvOS version compatible with your device and region. Do not install a similarly named app based on its name alone. This guide does not confirm a specific tvOS listing for those products.
No. This guide installs a tvOS app through the Apple TV App Store. Android APKs and Firestick Downloader codes do not install tvOS apps, and you do not need to enable unknown-source permissions.
Open the player’s add-playlist or account screen and choose the M3U URL option if supported. Paste the entire assigned link. If the player supports Xtream Codes and you received those credentials, enter the server URL, username and password separately.
EPG availability depends on the player and connection type. Supported account configurations can load listings automatically, while an M3U setup may need a separate EPG URL. If your player requests one or the guide stays empty, ask VocoTV support for the correct details and check your local time zone.
A third-party app licence and your VocoTV subscription are separate. Check the player’s price, in-app purchases and restrictions before activation. Paying for the app does not create a VocoTV account or include channels.
Your simultaneous connection allowance depends on your VocoTV plan. Check your order details before adding another screen, recording or using multiview. Use the access details supplied for your account; a player licence does not add service connections.
No. Native 4K playback needs a 4K source, supported player, compatible display and HDMI connection, and stable internet capacity. An HD channel does not become native 4K because it is played on an Apple TV 4K.
Yes. Request the IPTV free trial and confirm your Apple TV model and player. Test channel changes, sound, the guide and your remote before choosing a plan. Any separate app licence follows the player developer’s terms.
Confirm your player works with your device, then choose the duration and number of connections you need.
The IPTV UK homepage introduces the service options available after you have checked compatibility.
Apple and the named app developers are independent of VocoTV. App availability and features vary by device, software version and region.
