VocoTV · Player Setup Guide
TiviMate IPTV setup adds your VocoTV playlist to the Android TV player and loads its programme guide. Install the verified app, select the supplied access format and test playback before adjusting recording or multiview. This guide is for remote-controlled TV devices in the UK, not a touch-first phone setup.
TiviMate is designed for supported Android TV devices with remote navigation. Its Android package is not a native Samsung Tizen, LG webOS or Roku app. A compatible external Android TV device can provide a separate installation route for those televisions.
For platform details, consult TiviMate publisher listing on Google Play.
TiviMate setup requires a supported Android TV device or compatible Fire OS installation, remote navigation and an assigned service playlist. A TiviMate Premium account is separate from VocoTV credentials; do not enter one in place of the other.
The setup needs compatible hardware, an active connection and the access details assigned to this device.
Your VocoTV access details open your service. A TiviMate account manages the player’s paid features where applicable. These logins are not interchangeable.
Start with our device installation guide if you have not prepared your streaming device. Keep playlist URLs and passwords private; they can contain account credentials.
Use the official TiviMate website or its linked Google Play listing. TiviMate is intended for Android TV and remote navigation; it is not optimized for phones and tablets.
The developer provides an Android APK download for compatible devices. A numeric shortcut is not needed. Use the store route where available, and follow the Fire OS installer-permission steps only on a supported Fire TV model.
Use the store route on supported Android TV devices. Samsung Tizen, LG webOS and Roku do not run this Android APK. Check your device’s operating system rather than assuming all smart TVs support the same apps.
TiviMate setup has four stages: install the verified Android TV app, choose the supplied playlist format, enter and process the account details, and test playback and guide navigation. Check service connections separately before enabling recording or multiview.
On Android TV / Google TV, install TiviMate on Google Play. For compatible Fire OS devices, open Downloader and enter 272483, select Go, download, then select Install → Open. Direct APK fallback: TiviMate official APK; source: TiviMate developer.
If Fire TV asks for installation permission, follow our Firestick Downloader instructions. TiviMate is a TV-oriented player; do not use this route for iPhone, Apple TV, Samsung Tizen or LG webOS.
Open TiviMate → Add playlist. If you already have a playlist, open Settings → Playlists → Add playlist. Choose M3U playlist or Xtream Codes to match what VocoTV sent.
If you received one long M3U link: choose the playlist URL / M3U option. Enter VocoTV as the playlist name and paste the entire link into Playlist URL. Do not split it into username and password fields.
If you received three Xtream Codes details: select Xtream Codes or the supported server-login option. Copy Server URL → server/address field, Username → username field and Password → password field. If a name is requested, use VocoTV. Keep the supplied http/https and port; do not paste an M3U link into the server field.
Select Next, wait for the playlist to process, name it VocoTV and finish the prompts. If a separate EPG URL is requested, use the one provided by support; it is not the M3U playlist URL.
Several playback and guide checks confirm that the imported playlist works before advanced features are enabled.
If something fails, note whether it affects one channel or the whole playlist. This distinction helps support identify the cause.
UK guide times: set the device to the correct local time zone, normally Europe/London for UK viewing. Allow automatic daylight-saving changes and refresh the EPG if listings are an hour out.
TiviMate features depend on both the player edition and the service configuration; enabling a feature does not create extra content or connections.
| Check | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Multiview | Each simultaneously playing channel can use a separate connection. | Check the account allowance even when all streams appear on one physical screen. |
| Recording | Recording another channel may create an additional stream and require storage. | For illustration, a constant 8 Mbps recording is about 3.6 GB per hour before overhead. |
| Catch-up and EPG | The provider must supply compatible archive and guide data. | A Premium upgrade does not create missing programme listings or channel archives. |

Extra devices, recording and simultaneous streams can have different connection requirements; a player licence does not increase the VocoTV account allowance.
Your simultaneous connection allowance depends on your VocoTV plan. Check your order details before adding another screen, recording or using multiview. Use the access details supplied for your account; a player licence does not add service connections.
Opening additional live streams or recording while watching something else can use extra connections. Confirm your service allowance first. Also check storage space and write permissions before relying on recordings.
Player features and subscription content are different. Catch-up depends on an available service archive; installing an app cannot create missing programmes or change channel availability.
TiviMate troubleshooting should distinguish playlist import, live playback and EPG data. If channels load but listings are empty, check the supported guide configuration and device clock; an invalid-login error instead calls for checking the access format and account details.
Check the full URL or each login field, account status and connection. Do not put a complete M3U link into a server-only field. Ask support to verify your access format.
Try several channels and check whether another screen is using the assigned connection. Restart the app before changing settings. Record the exact error.
Pause heavy downloads and compare Wi-Fi with Ethernet where possible. Follow the IPTV buffering checklist instead of changing several settings at once.
Check the device time zone, refresh guide data and allow updates to finish. If only certain channels are affected, report their names and times to support.
Compare other streams first. If your app exposes playback or decoding settings, change one setting at a time and restore it if the result is worse. Device and source compatibility matter.
Send support your device model, app version, channel and error message. Use our IPTV troubleshooting guide for further checks. Save access details before clearing app data.
TiviMate Premium, VocoTV service access and extra simultaneous streams are separate considerations; enabling a player feature does not increase the account allowance.
Install the verified TiviMate app on a compatible Android TV device, open Add playlist and select the M3U or supported Xtream Codes method supplied by VocoTV. Enter the complete playlist URL or separate server credentials, process the list and test channels and guide times. TiviMate Premium does not include a content subscription or extra service connections.
Use the official TiviMate website or the publisher’s Google Play listing. The developer provides an Android APK for compatible devices; no numeric shortcut is required. Check Fire OS compatibility separately, and do not install an Android package on Tizen, webOS, Roku or Vega OS.
No. TiviMate is player software. You must supply your own service access. Purchasing TiviMate Premium does not purchase VocoTV channels or renew your VocoTV subscription.
Compatible Android-based Fire TV devices can use the developer’s Android download. Check your model and operating system first; not every Fire TV model supports Android APK installation.
The Android app does not install directly on Samsung Tizen, LG webOS or Roku. Use a compatible external streaming device or choose a supported native player for your television.
TiviMate is designed for Android TV and remote navigation, rather than touch-screen phones or tablets. For mobile viewing, choose a player designed for your device.
Choose the format supplied for your account. M3U uses the full assigned playlist URL. Xtream Codes uses separate server, username and password fields. Ask VocoTV to confirm details if you have only one format.
EPG availability depends on the player and connection type. Supported account configurations can load listings automatically, while an M3U setup may need a separate EPG URL. If your player requests one or the guide stays empty, ask VocoTV support for the correct details and check your local time zone.
Player upgrades and service subscriptions are separate unless your order explicitly states otherwise. Review the current TiviMate features and licence terms before paying for Premium.
Multiple live streams can require additional simultaneous connections even on one physical screen. Do not assume a one-device plan supports multiview. Ask VocoTV to confirm your account allowance first.
No. Catch-up requires compatible archive content from the service and a supported configuration. A player feature does not create an archive for channels that do not provide one.
Yes. Request the VocoTV free trial and confirm your device and player setup. Test normal playback, sound and guide listings. Any TiviMate upgrade fee remains separate.
Check playback on your own device, then compare durations and device allowances for your household.
Our VocoTV overview explains the viewing options to consider alongside your device setup.
TiviMate is independent player software. Its developer manages player features and licences; VocoTV supplies separate service access.
