VocoTV · iPhone & iPad
Set up VocoTV on your iPhone or iPad using a compatible App Store player. Follow four steps to install the app, add your playlist and check channels, sound and the programme guide. Test our UK IPTV service on the device and connection you plan to use.
Check your model and software under Settings → General → About. Compare these details with the player’s App Store requirements. A listing for Apple TV alone does not confirm iPhone compatibility, and some features differ between iOS, iPadOS and tvOS.
For an Apple TV box connected to your television, follow the Apple TV setup guide. Our parent IPTV installation guide covers other device platforms.
Keep account details separate: your Apple Account downloads the app. Your VocoTV credentials load the service. A third-party app licence has its own activation and renewal terms.
Use Hot Player by STE DIGI VIBES on the UK App Store. Its listing supports M3U playlists and identifies iPhone and iPad compatibility. Check current requirements and fees before installing.
Our Hot Player setup guide explains the access details you may need.
IBO is our next option on supported platforms, but similarly named apps are not interchangeable. Confirm the exact iOS listing and developer before applying an existing licence or using a playlist-management website.
Read the verification notes in our IBO Player setup guide.
The Smarters Pro developer website links to its iOS App Store listing. Follow that link to avoid confusing it with similarly named apps. Our Smarters setup guide covers supported login methods.
Check guide navigation, favourites, subtitles, screen orientation and any TV-sharing options. Picture in Picture, casting and background playback should be tested rather than assumed from the app’s name.
On your iPhone or iPad, tap Smarters Pro on the App Store, then Get, approve the App Store prompt and tap Open. Check your iOS/iPadOS compatibility in the listing. Alternative: HotPlayer on the App Store.
Start on Wi-Fi. No Downloader code, APK or unknown-app permission is needed on iOS.
Open Smarters Pro and find its add playlist / URL option. Choose the URL method for an M3U link. Some versions also offer a server-login or Xtream Codes option; use it only if it is visible. A player registration or purchase screen is separate from your VocoTV subscription.
If you received one long M3U link: choose the playlist URL / M3U option. Enter VocoTV as the playlist name and paste the entire link into Playlist URL. Do not split it into username and password fields.
If you received three Xtream Codes details: select Xtream Codes or the supported server-login option. Copy Server URL → server/address field, Username → username field and Password → password field. If a name is requested, use VocoTV. Keep the supplied http/https and port; do not paste an M3U link into the server field.
Save or add the playlist, then let the content finish loading. If your version only shows M3U/JSON playlist options, use your M3U link rather than looking for a missing Xtream Codes button.
Check the content and language options that matter to you before choosing a longer plan. Do not assume that every channel has the same subtitles, resolution or guide coverage.
Streaming can consume substantial data, especially at higher quality. Check your carrier allowance and roaming terms before watching away from Wi-Fi. If playback works only on Wi-Fi, review the app’s cellular-data permission and network conditions.
AirPlay and Google Cast are separate features. Confirm what your player and receiving device support, then test the actual stream. For a Google receiver, our Chromecast setup guide explains the difference between casting and installing a TV app.
Background playback and Picture in Picture depend on the player and content. Test whether playback continues when switching apps or locking the screen. Avoid assuming that a feature available on another device also works on your iPhone.
Your simultaneous connection allowance depends on your VocoTV plan. Check your order details before adding another screen, recording or using multiview. Use the access details supplied for your account; a player licence does not add service connections.
Check the device software requirement, App Store region and available storage. Confirm the exact developer. A TV-only listing or a similarly named app is not a substitute for the correct mobile version.
Confirm the account is active and the selected format matches your details. Paste the original URL without altering it. Refresh the player after saving a web-managed playlist.
Try another channel and compare connection quality. Pause downloads and restart the app. Follow our IPTV buffering checklist before resetting the device or changing several settings.
Check volume and the chosen audio track. Disconnect unused Bluetooth headphones or check whether sound is routed to another device. Compare a second stream to isolate a content-specific problem.
Verify the device time zone and refresh the guide if supported. Avoid changing multiple time offsets at once. Some channels may have incomplete listings even when the account is working.
Restart the app, check for updates and review free storage. Keep access details before deleting an app because reinstalling may remove playlists. Our IPTV troubleshooting guide covers additional checks.
When asking for help: include your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, player name, error and affected channel. Do not show passwords or full playlist URLs in public screenshots.
Install a compatible player from the App Store, add your assigned VocoTV M3U playlist or supported login details, and test channels and audio. Follow the four steps above and check your app’s requirements before purchasing a licence.
Yes. The UK App Store lists Hot Player by STE DIGI VIBES for iPhone and iPad. Check the current operating-system requirements and any in-app purchases on your own device. Similar app names may belong to different developers.
Use it only after confirming a compatible listing from the intended developer in your App Store region. IBO-branded apps can be different products with separate licences and playlist managers. This guide does not identify a verified iOS listing for IBO Player Pro.
No. This guide uses App Store installation. Android APK files and Fire TV Downloader codes do not install iPhone or iPad apps. No configuration profile or jailbreak is required for this method.
Use the player’s playlist URL field or its official playlist-management page if instructed. Paste the complete link assigned to that device and check for extra spaces. Do not use a public playlist checker to test a private account URL.
Yes, if the exact player supports it and VocoTV has supplied those credentials. Enter the server URL, username and password in separate fields. Use M3U when that is the supported method; do not assume every app supports both formats.
EPG availability depends on the player and connection type. Supported account configurations can load listings automatically, while an M3U setup may need a separate EPG URL. If your player requests one or the guide stays empty, ask VocoTV support for the correct details and check your local time zone.
Yes, when your player and mobile plan allow it. Streaming can consume significant data, particularly at higher resolutions. Review your carrier allowance, roaming charges and the app’s cellular-data permission before watching away from Wi-Fi.
It depends on the app and receiving device. AirPlay and Google Cast are different features, and an iOS player may support one, both or neither. Confirm compatibility and test the exact stream rather than assuming all phone playback can be shared.
Only if the app, device and content support the feature. Do not assume playback will continue after you lock the screen or switch apps. Test the controls in the player you intend to use.
Your simultaneous connection allowance depends on your VocoTV plan. Check your order details before adding another screen, recording or using multiview. Use the access details supplied for your account; a player licence does not add service connections.
Yes. Request VocoTV’s IPTV free trial and provide your device model and player name. Test your preferred channels, sound and supported guide features. Any app trial, activation fee or licence follows its developer’s separate terms.
Test your preferred player, then compare subscription durations and device allowances for your household.
Apple and the named app developers are independent of VocoTV. Availability, features and licence terms can vary by device and region.
